Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your purchase of and access to the online courses offered by Amanda Rice Career Coaching LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including “Setback to Interview Ready” and any future courses (each, a “Course”), as well as your use of amanda-rice.com (the “Site”). By purchasing, accessing, or using a Course or the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or access the Course.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to purchase or use a Course. By enrolling, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Enrollment and Account Access
When you purchase a Course, you receive a limited, personal license to access the Course content through our course platform for your individual use. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Course access is for a single user; you may not share, transfer, or resell your access.
3. Payment
All fees are stated at the point of purchase and are payable in full at the time of enrollment unless a payment plan is expressly offered. Payments are processed by our third-party course and payment platform. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the applicable Course fees and any applicable taxes.
4. Refund Policy — All Sales Final
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Because our Courses are digital products that provide immediate access to valuable content upon purchase, we do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations once a purchase is completed.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you are buying a digital product, that you will have immediate access to the Course content, and that you waive any right to a refund. If you experience a technical problem accessing the Course, contact us and we will work in good faith to restore your access.
5. Intellectual Property
All Course materials — including videos, worksheets, written content, slides, frameworks, templates, and any other materials — are owned by Amanda Rice Career Coaching LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Upon purchase, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Course materials for your own personal, non-commercial development. You may not:
• Copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or share the Course materials with anyone else;
• Record, download (except where expressly permitted), or screenshot materials for redistribution;
• Resell, sublicense, or repurpose the materials, in whole or in part, for any commercial purpose;
• Use the materials to create a competing product or service.
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Course and Site lawfully and respectfully. You will not interfere with the operation of the Site or course platform, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system, or engage in conduct that is abusive, harassing, or harmful to us or other participants.
7. No Guarantee of Results
OUR COURSES PROVIDE EDUCATION, COACHING FRAMEWORKS, AND GUIDANCE. THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC OUTCOME, INCLUDING EMPLOYMENT, A JOB OFFER, A PROMOTION, OR ANY PARTICULAR INCOME OR CAREER RESULT.
Results depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort, experience, market conditions, and individual circumstances. Any examples, testimonials, or results described are illustrative and not a promise of your results. Nothing in our Courses constitutes legal, financial, or professional employment advice.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE COURSES AND SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE COURSES OR SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AMANDA RICE CAREER COACHING AND ITS OWNER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE COURSES OR SITE.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a Course or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the Course giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amanda Rice Career Coaching LLC and its owner from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Courses or Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to a Course or the Site if you violate these Terms, including by sharing access or infringing our intellectual property. If your access is terminated for a violation, you will not be entitled to any refund.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or a Course will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.
Except as set out below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to a Course, the Site, or these Terms that cannot be resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration will be conducted in New Jersey, or by telephone or video where the rules permit, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. The arbitrator, and not any court, will have authority to resolve disputes about the interpretation or enforceability of these Terms.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER. YOU AND WE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON’S CLAIMS OR PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF CLASS PROCEEDING.
Before initiating arbitration, the party raising a dispute agrees to first send a written description of the dispute to the other party and to attempt to resolve it informally for at least thirty (30) days. Either party may still bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to amanda@amanda-rice.com within thirty (30) days of your first Course purchase; if you opt out, the Governing Law and Dispute Resolution section above will apply instead. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) will proceed in court rather than arbitration.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above. Material changes will be communicated through our Site or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of a Course or the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
